halle thomas anxiety therapist boulder

I’m Halle, an Anxiety Therapist in Boulder, CO, Denver, CO, and Portland, OR.

I’m here to quiet down the anxious voice in your mind that keeps you from falling asleep before 2am.

I want you to show up to work with the ability to speak up in meetings where you used to bite your tongue.

Part of why I work with millennial men, women, and non-binary professionals is because I know what the struggle is like for us. It doesn’t take long to track down the latest research articles that show our generation is anxious as all get out.

Clients I’ve worked with in the past have described me as warm, calming, direct, and practical. Sometimes I even manage to be funny!

And yes, I do want an outcome for you where you don’t feel burdened by anxiety 24/7, but I want something else for you to: for you to feel hopeful again.

I’m really looking forward to teaching you everything I know about how to work with your anxiety so that life can be a thought leader in your workplace, while also being able to clock out on time so you can make it to dinner with your family.

My Approach

In my practice, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) aka Parts Work (yes, it’s the idea that the movie Inside Out is based on) and Brainspotting. Both of these models allow us to work with both your thoughts and your body.

What’s more important than the models I use is the relationship you have with me. The research shows over and over again that how you feel toward your therapist (aka the therapeutic alliance) is the number one indicator of positive outcomes in therapy.
