Online Therapy 〰️ Colorado 〰️ Oregon 〰️
I know that reaching out for support feels nerve-wracking when you’ve spent most of your life suppressing your needs. And while it’s true that you’ve handled so much on your own, you’re allowed to acknowledge that you’re done managing it all alone.
Self-doubt, guilt, and other people’s expectations have been controlling your decision-making for too long (and it’s part of why you get stuck overthinking). Together we’ll find a way for you to make decisions that honor your needs and feel authentic to you without abandoning your culture or your values.
I’m accepting new clients who are based in either Colorado or Oregon!
Click the button to request your free, no-pressure 15 minute consult.
Here’s what happens after you request a free consultation:
Once I receive your consultation request, I’ll approve it! You’ll receive an email afterward with all the details.
During our call, we’ll chat about how either weekly therapy or an intensive can support you. I’ll answer any questions you might have about the process too.
If we decide we want to work together, we’ll sort out the logistics for scheduling on our call too. If for any reason I’m not the right fit for you, I’ll point you in the direction of some other therapists who might be a better match.
Have a question you don’t see here? Head over to the extended FAQs or email me over at halle@chicorycounseling.com

TL;DR If you’re a person who’s curious about overthinking not being your default, I’d love to work with you! -
$225 per 50 minute weekly session. Payment is collected at the time of each session.
$1,550 per intensive package. A 50% non-refundable retainer is collected to reserve your dates. The remaining 50% is due at the time of your 3-hour intensive.
Reduced fee spots are currently full.
I’m able to accept debit, credit, and HSA/FSA cards for payment.
I do not accept insurance, but can provide you with a superbill* (an itemized receipt showing what you’ve paid out of pocket) to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
*To provide a superbill, I’ll have to add a diagnosis to your health record. I’ll walk you through my process for diagnosing so you’re not left in the dark. -
For Weekly Therapy Clients
I have a Limited Cancellation Policy. All clients are given 2 free cancellations per calendar year. To use a cancellation, you’ll need to notify me at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.
I always encourage you to ask about your options for rescheduling.
If you use your 2 free cancellations, cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled session, or don’t show up to a scheduled session, you’ll be charged the full session fee.
You won’t be charged if I need to cancel a session, or if I’m out of the office on vacation.
For Intensive Clients
You’ll need to notify me at least 7 calendar days before your intensive if you need to cancel.
While your 50% retainer is nonrefundable, you are always welcome to explore options for rescheduling your intensive if you simply need a new set of dates. -
My practice hours are Wed-Fri 9am-1pm MST.
If you sign up for weekly therapy, we’ll meet at the same time every week.
If you sign up for an intensive, we’ll meet 2-3 times, over the span of 2-3 weeks, depending on how your intensive is scheduled.
All therapy services are provided virtually through SimplePractice’s video platform.
You must be located in either Colorado or Oregon during our sessions due to state laws. -
I’m a queer, biracial, multiethnic (Creole, African-American, and Slavic), chronically ill human who knows how many barriers you can run into when engaging with the world of therapy.
Between my own lived experience, ongoing healing work, and continued education, I’m always renewing my commitment to practice in a decolonized, anti-oppressive way.
This means I won’t pathologize any aspect of your identity nor culture.
I also won’t diagnose you without your consent and collaboration.
You can expect that I’ll connect you with tools and resources that prioritize and amplify your autonomy and safety.
